| Went to Stilbruch for a pizza and an Ottobier. I think the nephew is getting the hang of things, or else I was just thirsty, but it tasted much better than last year. Talked to two different people about who brews the Wilde Rose beers now that Maisel has closed and they seemed to think it was Frankenbräu of Mitwitz. Lot more Maisel Bayreuth signs around town. I figure some places must have figured I've got all this stuff that says "Maisel" so go the easy route and switch towns, not brewery names :) Stöhrenkeller has gone back to its roots and is back to serving the Eichhorn beer from Dörfleins. |
