Bayern ticket to Gunzendorf

I know theres been a bit of discussion about this recently; well be coming in to Bamberg from Munich Airport on a Bayern ticket, and would like an excursion to make the most of it. Have done most of the rail places and what Id like is to get the bus to Gunzendorf and stroll back to Buttenheim via Droschendorf and the Buttenheim kellers, getting the train back to Bamberg. Does anyone know if we could use the bamberg ticket on the bus from bamberg to Gunzendorf. Alternatively, exactly which buses can it be used on? Many thanks as ever
