I understand your concern about the economy, but planning to brew whilst *on holiday* is a bit extreme, no? ;) I'm curious about homebrewing in Franken too; my visits to England have me craving 3.5% bitter and mild. It's just...*so* much work to brew! There are clubs and suppliers, but I can't look up anything specific right at the moment for some reason. There's a club in Erlangen affiliated with a group that bought and resurrected a communal Brauhaus north of Bamberg years ago where groups go and brew together, Zoigl-style, I suppose--can somebody dig this up? It's pretty cool. |
