Wheat Beers - Why Bother? |

| Speaking of Schneider Weisse, I'm reminded of my favorite Wheat beer experience this past March in Munich at the Weisses Brauhaus. We had a late breakfast there that consisted of a tall glass of Schneider Weisse, Weisswurst, and a Pretzel with a couple of tasty mustards to choose from. Now that was one damn good breakfast. Otherwise I'm with you, I don't have any desire for Wheat beer when in Franconia. Actually come to think of it, the one time I had wheat beer in Bamberg was also at breakfast one Sunday morning at Zum Sternla and again with a plate of Weisswurst. So for me apparently wheat beer is a breakfast drink. |
