Thanks for this, Danny. It looks like the timetables are currently being updated and will be available in January: http://tinyurl.com/busfahrplan-landkreisbamberg (see link to "Gesamtfahrplan": im Dezember noch in Bearbeitung) One problem with the Geisfeld bus is that the Brauereigaststätten don't open until 15.00 or later, but the buses arrive there at 13.44 and 16.14. (Arriving at 16.14 allows you only 2-1/2 hours for both breweries before the last bus back to Bamberg.) One solution is to take the earlier bus to Roßdorf, eat lunch there, and then take the lovely 2.2 km walk through "Franconian Tuscany" to Geisfeld. Pity that there's no convenient return bus from Appendorf to Bamberg. Gleichfalls that there's no convenient return from Huppendorf...
