Fruehling fests in Franconia

I have done a small amount of research into this subject in the past Mike,without a lot of luck,It seems(and this is purely my own observations!)that because the weather in franconia is colder and wetter in the spring than we would expect in the uk,out side festivals dont appeal,It seems that the maibock season corresponds with any festivals there might be. The only luck I have had in the past is to select a town/village and check out thier web site,as they usually have a calender of events.not much help I know!!but if you find any fests in spring time please post. cheers!
