That's exactly how I would characterize the Landwehrbrau beers as well. I spent 2 "almost beer deprived" days in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (where the only beer in sight is Landwehrbrau) with my wife. I got so sick of it after 2 days that I switched over to wine. :shudder:
