| I personally think it's pretty impressive that there is as much regular bus service as there is--it's a tiny little village in the country, after all. (Several connections a day except Sundays.) The vast majority of Kreuzberg visitors drive there...thither, while the bulk of the rest hike or go by bike. Adjust your schedule to the bus, and it's easy. I'm looking forward to seeing how Mike does with it. And we keep forgetting the Anrufsammeltaxi service...one of these days I'll remember to ask the details about this when I'm in Forchheim. The people at OVF in Erlangen have given me conflicting information about it, but that's not too surprising, given that the particular service in question is based in distant Forchheim. Ah, setting my Google to search for English hits reveals a place in the country which has a page about how to use the AST to get to them: http://www.gasthof-eichler.de/englisch/en-ast.html That's pretty clear. I can't call the AST office to confirm the details right now, as the office ain't open yet. |
