Kreuzberg mit dem Bus & zu Fuß

*If* you can get yourself going early enough (listening, Jimbo?), you can indeed spend a day there just by bus & train from Eggolsheim & Forchheim. Either get off at Eggolsheim and walk to Schlammersdorf, have a beer there and catch the next bus to S'limbach, have lunch & beer there, hike up the Kreuzberg, have beers there, and hike back down to S'limbach in time to get the last bus at 18:50 or so. To make it to all 4 Keller in one bus-based day is doable, but could take discipline. The Kellerberg stop is actually *not* the stop for the Kreuzberg, but for the Kellerberg in the village of Hallerndorf itself. Which does, in fact have an operating Bierkeller (Rittmayer's Gartenkeller(?)), but IMO is not at all worth a detour. The Stiebarlimbach stop is actually the closest to the K-berger Keller--get off there, walk through the Roppelt brewery yard, past their pig barn on the right, and turn left to the hill with the Keller at its base. Meet you there, then?
