I'm looking in to this at the moment, but my German is rudimentary. Most small gasthaus do not have a web site or email. And of those that do have a web site, some are in German language only and require fax or phone booking. But it may be worth getting somewhere in Forchheim. I don't fancy my chances of making it back to the train station after several litres of festbier. Thanks Mike
