I.C.E. - ping Treinjan

My only experience with the business class bummel was in november last year, when the train strike was going on. At that time it was allowed to travel ICE with a "normal" cheapo ticket (e.g. Bayern Card), and with less trains going (and thus more demand) the trains may have been more crowded than usual. However, we found some seats, they were not reserved for the part of the trip we would need them, so we used them. There was some moaning from one man using almost all of the group of 4 seats, but he let our group of 3 use the seats. I think it is ok to use available seats, but it is indeed advisable to reserve seats, as in thatt case you'll indeed have seats available, even if the train is getting (too) crowded. It might also help finding available seats in busy trains. However - I'm relying in Treinjan to provide more definite information.
