| For about three months now, there is a new membership association in Bavaria: The "Verein zum Erhalt der bayerischen Wirtshauskultur" (Association for the preservation of Bavarian pub culture), whose sole aim is to protest against the new anti smoker legislation. After that short time of existence there are more than 30,000 members. Compared to 12 million Bavarians, this is not very much. But the VEBWK is the third-biggest one of all membership corporations and associations in Bavaria. May be a thought-provoking information. Chewing over... (Non-smokers should be allowed to go outside for non-smoking? Sorry, just a joke. Could not resist.) |
