Most of the breweries in Franken serve their keller bier right from the keg up on the bar, using gravity as flow. I know a lot of good CAMRA bars do the same, as do most CAMRA fests. There are a lot of German places that force carbonate/feed their beer using CO2, and these could not be considered "real beer" by your definitions. It is hard to beat beer right from the barrel or from the cask. |
