| Wow indeed! How long do you think you are going to last, considering the fact that you are not going to visit all those breweries to drink water? Many of these places will serve you some beers in 0,25 litre amounts, but more often 0,5, and at the Annafest it will be 1 litre! Apart from that, you take one day to visit Memmelsdorf, Drosendorf and Merkendorf. Now the best brewery of those, Hummel, can have up to eight beers on offer at a time. Most will be served in 0,25 litre glasses, but that is exceptional (0,5 is generally the norm in Franconia). At Wagner you will also have a list of 4 or 5...... Again, one day for a list of 5 Bamberg breweries, who all will have several beers on offer? And you plan to visit Kaiserdom in Gaustadt, but I see no mention of Klosterbräu ? I could go on and on, but it's your trip (and stomach and liver). By the way, when in Bischberg, be sure to have a meal there. The younger brother cooks as good as the older brews. |
