And which styles might they be Jimbo? Are there no examples of the same beer being available in both the gravity style cask and via keg? My experience would suggest otherwise. Is the beer within different in some way? Is it really a definite rule (whose rule?) that if a beer is put into a keg then it must be served by CO2? It isn't that I'm trying to be awkward and in fact, as I've said already, it might well be better not to serve keg beer via air pressure, though I need to investigate that assertion a bit more, but that I just want to understand. Only person that has given a valid reason is Fred and I agree with what he says. The rest - I'm not so sure about. I'd like to take this up with my beer colleagues on BSF but I'm not sure I'm getting enough ammo to do so. |
