Bamberg Bridge Closures (again) |

| BTW, now that the new Luitpoldbrücke is open, they've closed the Löwenbrücke in order to remove and replace it. The next bridge downstream from the Luitpoldbrücke is the Ketternbrücke and the one after that is the Löwenbrücke. This shouldn't effect pedestrian beer drinkers much, but will add to the overall traffic problems in Bamberg. I don't know they are going to do a temporary bridge for buses and pedestrians like the did before. The only person I talked about it thought so, but he wasn't sure. It will take a couple years to replace this bridge and then the Ketternbrücke comes next. |
