Getting to Merkendorf from Bamberg

You could do Bischberg in the evening, or another day. Bamberg has a visitors card that gives you two days unlimited rides on the city buses plus entry to some of the local musuems. It costs (I think) about 70 Euro cents more than just the bus pass and it is even cheaper for two. All the Bamberg city bus lines spread out from the central bus station (ZOB), so to go from Bischberg to Memmelsdorf you'd got back to the ZOB and changes buses. Clear as mud, I'm sure.
