Bamberg here we come!

I will leave the top 20 lists to those with more experience. But there is one beer you must try that requires planning. Mahrs taps a wooden keg of its keller bier on Friday at 5PM. It is, in my humble opinion, the best "regular" lager I've had in Germany. Since it is only available Friday evening until the keg runs out, it is worth the 20 minute walk from the center. It gets crowded. But the food is good and I think you can reserve a table if you want dinner. Mike
