Luitpold Bridge out in Bamberg

I witnessed part of the demolition process of the Luitpold bridge last april; the bus schedules have been adapted and hardly give any problems as there is a temporary bridge a little upstream, exclusively for buses, cyclists and pedestrians. The Kettenbrücke might be next on the list, but they will definitely not start on that one until after the rebuilding of the Luitpold bridge. For people who like me prefer to stay at Spezial of Fässla, the road into the centre of town remains via the Kettenbrücke, whether there is a Luitpold bridge or not. For information on the bridge building see http://www.stadt.bamberg.de/ I'm going to check out how far they have come in about three weeks time.
