Homebrewed Franconian-style Kellerbier

I thought water treatment (including calcium sulphate) was allowed providing it didn't excede levels found in the normal water supply. Certainly Ron Pattinsons site http://www.xs4all.nl/~patto1ro/reinheit.htm gives that impression, as does my copy of "Additives, Adulterants And Contaminants In Beer". I am happy to be proven wrong though.
