The Future of good German bier in the US

I've never heard of it being imported -- at least not in recent times (I would think that word would spread like wildfire). I checked Modern Brewery Age (http://www.breweryage.com ) which has a list of imported brand names and its not listed. I don't know how up-to-date that list is though (and some of the descriptions are not all that good).
