| I know, it was a heatbreak for me, too. I think Mahrs and Fässla also have the "fake" ones. If you go to the Spezialkeller on Stefansberg they serve from real wooden kegs. So does the Schlenkerla, but I think that's it for in town. Thinking about it, I've mostly seen the wooden kegs in Bierkellers, not so much in the breweries. This sort of makes sense because there is no brewery at the Schlenkerla anymore, its up by Spezialkeller. |
