 I spent 2 years in Zirndorf, 1964-65 with the US Army. Zirndorfer has to be one of the best biers in Germany, I drank a few from Garmish to the north. I had sent to me from Zirndorf, over a year ago, 2 Zirndorfer biers and they were great.

 I was stationed at Pinder Barracks from 1974-1978.I loved the bier and would like to know if it can be shipped to a U.S. address if I send a International Money Order.I was a customer at Hoffmans and loved all the people that made Germany so great. Thanks Mark

 Zirndorfer Landbier has a nice malty nose and medium amber color. A full malty body is gently balanced by the hops; very smooth with good mouthfeel. The only downside I noticed was slight overcarbonation. Overall an excellent, highly drinkable brew ... can't seem to have just one.

 Even if you can get Zirndorfer in the U.S., be careful, since it was purchased by Tucher, the quality is not the same...although it is still better than any of the Tucher beers.

 unfortunately you can not ship liquids through the mail system, if you know someone traveling they can bring it states side in checked baggage. try to get hold of a service person coming home on leave to your home state
