 This nice little brewery is situated on top of the franconian jura, so the water ist chalky and soft. Produced are various types of beer: Helles Vollbier, Märzen, Pils, Weizen hell, dunkel and leicht, Dunkles Vollbier etc. The Pils is soft, hoppy and very light in colour. The dark Vollbier is extraordinary! Very very malty without the smallest hint of sweetness and absolutely satisfying in taste. Well done!

 Had the Märzen and the Vollbier in another pub. The Märzen is dark orange in colour and beautifully powerful. Great taste. The Vollbier is a soothing drink but not that special.

 Went with Juergen in May 2017. Stube was shut, so we bought bottles from the brewery and sat in the garden - 4 bottles for 2,70, daylight robbery! Lovely soft and refreshing Helles but standout beer was the Dunkles - not sure whether it was the Vollbier but it was dark, no sweetness, soft and with a delicious delicate flavour. Had the Maerzen elsewhere and it was equally food.
