| I can't say I completely agree with the quality of food dropping as one gest further from the south (of Germany). The Oberpfalz, for instance, is only okay, with a few occasional exceptions. OTOH, the Rheinland had some real treats for us during our sojourn there in June 2013, especially at Brauhaus Am Bock in Bergisch Gladbach, where even the Gaffel Kölsch was in much-better-than-usual form, and our local, the Kauler Hof, had good food and lovely Päffgen on as well. |
