Der Hopfen - Pellets vs Whole/Leaf/Natur vs Fresh/Wet

Well now, I've heard from the brewer at Buxton, whose fantastic 3.6%, golden, very hoppy Moor Top PA is one I try to emulate at home. He prefers pellets because of the "effect they give" and of course the ease of handling. I say that those who prefer their beer less industrialised out of principle should eschew the industrialised pellets, if only out of principle.
