Help with bus tickets |

| This 7 day Mobi-card actually sounds intriguing. Correct me if I'm reading this wrong but it looks like you can use it for 7 days of bus and train travel in the entire region (excluding ICE's and other non-regional trains I assume). And it looks like one ticket is good for two adults. I also saw this on the VGN website: "It is valid for 31 days, no matter what day you buy it. If you do not need to travel before 9 am, save money with the 9 o'clock MobiCard. You get the same benefits for just 58,90 €. After 9 am Mon–Fri, up to 6 persons (max. 2 of them 18 years of age or older) can use it together. And there are no time restrictions at the weekend. Alternatively, take 2 bicycles instead of 2 people, 1 dog travels along with you for free." So for us beer travelers who typically aren't going to be up and about before 9am anyhow it's even cheaper. Am I missing something? It seems to me 58.90 euros for two adults travelling around the Franconian region for 7 days this is a pretty good deal and has the added convenience of never having to worry about buying anymore tickets for the 7 days it is used. Just get on the bus or train and show the Mobicard. |
