The ferry is a project of Don Bosco (a catholic community for the youth ("Jugendwerk"), a social welfare project. Workless young people can get jobs as day laborer working on the ferry. Older volunteers help and control them. The ferry has worked in the last year (since September 2012), but 2013 is the first full year (April to October). The ferry was built by an enterprise for free together with volunteers. The fee is 1 € (or more, if You want) for a passage or 28 € for a year. Opening times: April to October Tuesday to Friday; 10.30 – 20.30 Uhr On weekends: 11.00 to 21.00 Uhr The have no schedule; it's a short way; they drive as needed. You have only to wait few minutes.
