| Barry, I get sick of Guinness after only 2 or 3 days there. So I can only imagine your frustration. "Fred - you're not going to be too far away from Lisdoonvarna in your forthcoming visit - might be difficult to get to but perhaps worth a try?" Yeah I would definitely recommend the Roadside Tavern in Lisdoonvarna as well to anyone travelling nearby. Not only good beer (better than I expected to be honest) but a really nice pub too. Also bear in mind just 8km away in touristy Doolin is a Hotel with a bar (Fitzpatrick's bar) that serves several choices from various Irish micro breweries. It also hosts a beer festival in August.
