Snow clearing: German law

I've been extraordinarily lucky with bike falls. As in, I've had precious few, and have never been really hurt when it has happened. And I fell from my bike yesterday too --before I realised that it was icy-- as I stopped in front of our house, the bike slipped out from under me and down I went, right in front of our garden gate. I was coming home from the gym, and was still pumped up from my workout, so was loose and limber, which helped. It had sleeted whilst I was in the gym. Bought some salt and put it down out there this afternoon, too. Erlangen ordinances be verdammt!
