Instead of dropping 2500 euroducats on a Biersommelier cert, get the USA equivalent, like a Cicerone or MBAA's Beer Steward. It might make certain qualification-happy types cringe, but either of these options is a lot cheaper. Well, except for the bit that might require a trip back to the USA for any additional "study."
