Eschawo and elsewhere - trip report

Thanks Jan. Mighty tour of zoigl-land! Would appreciate your views of the different zoigls in Eschawo/Neuhaus. Also, what is Sausewind? Alter Pfarrhof is Loistl's other outlet, which I haven't visited. Rudi (and the infamous Hogy) offered to take me on Vaters Tag but I politely declined, having heard the reports of their exploits the previous year (inc walking back thro the Waldnaabtal - at night!). Wolfadl is the one in Falkenburg that I haven't visited. We liked the zoigl in Roter Ochse (wonderful place) and wondered who brewed it. Have never tasted the Oberpfalz Hof zoigl - the night we tried to vist was ruhetag and the guy was really rude and refused to serve us, even though others were drinking. We ended up in Weisser Schwann and had our first meeting with Ludwig (did you come across him at all?). Thought Wuerth one of the most miserable bars it has been my 'pleasure' to visit and W-stube certainly not my favourite!
