New brewery: Brauhaus Binkert, Breitengüßbach

There's some emphasis on the extra-hoppy 50+ IBU IPA style in some bits of the USA, but it's hardly the norm, and there are plenty of places doing more balanced styles as well. I can get unfiltered lagers from local brewers that are far more compatible with what one finds in, say, Franconia than the "standard" hop monsters. And for all the hype, less than 5% of beer sold in the USA is ultra-hoppy IPA. Much US beer still gassy bland junk (as is unfortunately the case in all too many places), but a growing segment also favors harmonious, balanced flavors and well-made beers.
