Oh yes, there are really great British beers. Examples like (in no particular order, and not limited to) Meantime, Thwaites, Crouch Vale, Dark Star, Adnams, Harvey's, Bateman's, Castle Rock, Marble Arch, and many others). Don't forget there are quite some crappy German beers as well... - even Franconian. No, I won't mention names.
