Lagering in Keller

So, I have no idea about your original question.  But I know of a brewery that lagers their beer in their brewery keller/basement using ice they harvested in the winter to keep it cold. I thought that was pretty cool. I've been there a couple of times. The beer is average, but it's a neat throw-back way of lagering.
