Have to agree re Doombar,brewed sweet to appeal to a mass market,and very successfully. not sure what the beef is with Sheperd neame though?Ok, the spitfire and Masterbrew are just ordinary beers,but well brewed and good if cellared well.The Heritage ales are better if you can get them,I like the 1698 Kentish strong ale. What town in Kent do you base yourselves in?Dont take this as a slight,but what is the appeal of kent? poor old place is a bit down at heel now,except for a couple or three Gentryfied towns. A bit like a lot tof the UK these days I suppose. |
