How much to drink |

| To each his own but I value the quality and enjoyment of a beer. Drinking Maß (1 liter) mugs of bier is not so enjoyable for me due to the weight of the mug and beer getting warm. A seidla is my preference and I think you get the best quality drinking in a nice shaped 1/2 liter glass designed by that brauerei. Never exceeded 2 Maß of bier in one day in my life and that was at my first Oktoberfest decades ago. Remember my first trip to Praha and went to the famous Czech beer pub Tygra and shared a table with an older Czech man who advised me I wasn't drinking fast enough the 12 oz mugs of Pilsner Urquil. In one hour chatting with him and a friend, I drank 2 -12 oz biers while the old man had 9 biers. After I returned from the restroom the Old man from Czech told me he never gets up from the table nor goes to the restroom until his 10th bier something he claimed he performed for over 15 consecutive years. |
