| Jeff, AFAIK Uli brews all of his beers himself. But I never asked him, where he gets the malt from. What he freely told me some time ago, is, he's only using Spalter Select hops. The brewery was closed in 1950. Uli Martin is a Social Worker like myself who realized his dream of restoring a historic brewery to working order. He's done an amazing job. Even the Wirtshaus is not overrestored. Simply perfect work. |
