| Yes, Weyermanns spec for the Carafa 111 is 1300--1500 EBC. I can understand you not wanting to use the Sinamar,Just noticed that the Carafa 111 special is de husked.That would have the desired effect.darkening,without increasing the roast flavour too much. The high Alpha content of the kettle hops should offset the sweetness of 12% caramel malt. |
