Lager in Manchester, Black Country |

Mmm... funny, I've never been in there, though have walked past it many times on our way to and from Stockie market. Problem is that, if we are in Stockie, it's almost impossible to drag J. away from a Robbie's pub! But will deifinitely give it a try next time, as it sounds good and Sam Smith's is the best (value) beer from outside of Manchester. No bias here. Agree with your point about visiting B & B, too much in one short day but definitely scope for a tour of the Black Country one day together. Maybe when we're both ensconsed in different ends of the country? Interesting article about 'keg real ale' - why bother, landlords, just get your finger out and learn to look after real ale, it's not rocket science! |
