whilst I fully understand the idea behind this.and the fun and satisfaction it would bring to the participants.I do not understand why people are not satisfied with enjoying things "in situ" without feeling the need to transfer them to an enviroment where the novelty, and unique experience this brings, are inevitably watered down. I feel sure that some very clever nuclear scientist or some such in his spare time could construct to scale, models of the Taj Mahal,Golden gate bridge,or the tower of london. But,much nicer to go and see them"live" I have only been to Zoigland once.and for me. the real joy of the trip was the novelty value of it. please bear in mind this is a purely personal rant! |
