| Yes, met the Cornhuskers yestersay, with Uncle Jimbo. Had a beer with Bill and a few others in Fi edlschneider and then accompanied them on their guided tour of the Kommunbrauhaus. Really good to meet Jimbo after such a long period of virtual acquaintance and we had really nice long session in Neuhaus and Eschawo, finishing in the early hours. Next Saturday, we leave for Seigendorf and will probably use our Bayern tikt for a visit to Forchheim - hopefully, Neder will be open and we might even take a trip up the Kellerwald. The next couple of days depends on whether J. will be tempted to try a bicycle but on Sunday propose to visit Schmausenkeller, possibly using the 990 Freizeit bus from Hirschaid. Other ideas include Roppelt of course. So, let me know if you fancy meeting up somewhere and recounting your tales of Kent! |
