It's a special offer called Bayernticket

23 Euro for 1 day / 1 person: 2 for 28 until 5 persons for 43 €uro.

You can't use the IC, only "Nahverkehrszüge", p.e. the fast Regional Express (RE).
Included are all tickets for line busses and "Verkehrsverbünde", p.e. the busses in Bamberg, Nürnberg etc. (VGN). You can use the Bayernticket the whole day - back and forth in the whole country Bavaria, not only in one direction but back and forth with so many stops You like. It's also available from monday to friday, but on these days it's allowed to use it before 9 a.m.

The price is for a online ticket and for a ticket on a ticket vending machine. At a counter You have to pay a small fee (1 Euro???).
The Bayernticket is non-transferable. You have to write Your name on the ticket and have to show your passport if the insepctor in the train want to see Your passport. If You us a Bayernticket with other people You have to write their names too on the ticket and stay together in the train(s).
