Mahrs U carbonation

Stephan told me something interesting in our discussion of U Bier.  He said that U Bier contains 4.5 g of CO2 (per Liter, I assume) while a Pils contains 4.9 g.  I did the calculations for 12 ºC, and this comes to 2.4 volumes CO2 for U and 2.6 volumes CO2 for Pils. Does this sound right?  I thought an U was significantly less carbonated than a Pils.
