| Well, a pop-up shop is one that literally 'springs up' from unoccupied premises, usually in a shopping precinct and are, generally, fairly temporary affairs [in the early days, I think that they were often illegal occupations but this seems to have changed now]. So, perhaps these micro-pubs are a little different but really not so different in concept in that they often allow users to utilise otherwise empty places and at little expense. Whatever, it's a great idea. How about the prices charged for the beer? Are these places cheaper than conventional pubs? And, yes, please give my regards to Ian - maybe we meet him somewhere in 2015, when he can give us a further demonstration of the adventures of a beer rater! |
