Nice to see you've come to your senses on the Lager! BTW, if you made it to the Brau-Beviale, then accept my apologies for having raved about it so much a couple of years ago. This year's supply of Bavarian-brewed beers to show off new hops was disappointing compared to the previous years'. Why Schönramer thinks it's a good idea to use *Hefeweizen* to show off hop aroma is beyond me. And the pale ales disappointed. And the couple of Pilses there did too. Would much rather have the 4 varieties of dry-hopped base Pils of yore than the 12 mix-and-match "craft" varieties of this year. Other than that though, was a typical "Brau" IME.
