Excitement mounts in the Dative |

Seems good news to me. Suggests that German is a language that is evolving. How many books could be written showing the way that English has evolved and simplified (in speech anyway) making it much simpler for non-English speakers. Or maybe I'm wrong about the latter. Nick, you're the one with practical experience of this matter. I wonder how the arrival of so many none German speakers in recent decades has had on the language? |
