| Hi all. Long time, occasional lurker, first time poster. I’ll be heading to Munich this weekend (with various day trips including Aying and Andechs) before arriving in Fanconia on Thursday 25-July. I’ve been to Bamberg twice (one Easter weekend on my own; once meeting up with Fred and others), but have not really had opportunity on those short trips to venture much outside the city (Heller, Spezial, Abseits, etc.). I’m hoping to hit Annafest mid-day on Thursday on my own and perhaps again Friday late afternoon with some fellow beer judges/geeks/friends/homebrewers. I'd love any Annafest tips that this esteemed group might have: - What breweries/beers might be good to prioritize? - General strategies (on own own vs with group)? - Anyone interested in meeting for a beer or 5?
