In search of a flowery pils

I thought the Lieberth Keller bier was streets ahead of anything else up at the Kreuzberg, mainly as it was served BA. Of course that's not to say the other stuff wasn't very good, just not as good. Certainly Friedel was just over engineered, one of the reasons I love Franconia is the simplicity of the whole setup, not just the beer but the culture around it. As others have commented, a little American brew pubby, great in the US but I'm not sure I want to see it in Franken. Having said that, I have only been to Kreuzberg once, so I will keep an open mind when I venture there on Vatertag a week this Thursday. Another Pils which I have had on 2 separate visits that fits the bill is Elch Brau in Thuisbrunn. The brewery is fairly new (2007?) and their pils is really excellent, unfiltered and very hoppy. Lovely beer garden too.
