Biking v. Walking

Thought you'd posted about biking trips here before...must've been someone else. I did a lot of mountain biking in my early Oregon years, in my late 20's. Then no biking for a decade before we moved here. It was great fun getting back into it (well, not *mountain* biking, but on- and off-road) and we can't imagine living without biking everywhere again. I suggest you try it; Franconia is extremely bike-friendly, except for the non-natives tooling around the Landstraße in cars, of course. You've seen so much of it by foot, why not try it by bike? You're still out in the open, breathing and hearing everything, but getting around to a lot more places in the same amount of time. (Not today though, springtime snow sucks Arsch!)
